Genus: Circus Approximans
Size: 63cm
Notes: Seen mainly in the cut over forest or on fire breaks where it can find young rabbits, lizards, frogs, mice and small birds to eat. It nests in swampy areas within the forest and along the foreshore of the lakes adjoining the pine forest.
