What We Do
Our primary responsibilities are covered by five key tasks:

  • Setting national training standards and qualifications for all forest industries.
    Developing training programmes for employers and employees.
    Maintaining a national database of trainees and the Forest Industries Training qualifications that they achieve.
    Accredit and monitor training providers and assessors.
    Arranging delivery of training - both on and off the job.

We are providing more than 10,000 people with learning and qualification opportunities at any one time.
